I had the chance to collaborate with Signé M magazine in May. It was super flattering when the Art Director, Nathalie D’Amour, sent me the inspirations for the shoot, that she included a photo I had taken of Stefano on Food Revolution Day. That was a first! The day of the shoot, I arrived at Louis-François Marcotte’s beautiful home and was blown away by the beautiful waterfront setting. His backyard is a little slice of paradise. I was pretty nervous before the shoot and a little intimidated to shoot Louis-François. Once the shoot started, things flowed really well and the whole team (stylist, hair and make-up, art director, Louis-François and my assistant) contributed to making the end results pretty solid. After the shoot, Louis-François and I had a nice chat about our sons (who are close in age) and I really liked his down-to-earth attitude. The shot was originally to be an interior feature on BBQ, but they ended up using one of the photos for the front cover! I’m looking forward to future collaborations with Signé M and following Louis-François on more adventures.
J'ai eu la chance de collaborer avec le magazine Signé M en mai. C’était un beau compliment quand la directrice artistique du magazine, Nathalie D'Amour, m'a envoyé les inspirations pour le shooting, qu’elle a inclue une photo que j'avais prise de Stefano lors du Food Revolution Day. C'était la première fois que mes images servaient d’inspiration pour un DA! Le jour du shooting, je suis arrivée chez Louis-François et j’ai été emporté par la beauté de son terrain au bord de l'eau. Son jardin est un vrai paradis. J'étais assez nerveuse avant le shooting et un peu intimidée à prendre des photos de Louis-François. Une fois le shooting a commencé, les choses coulaient vraiment bien et toute l'équipe (styliste, maquilleuse, directeur artistique, Louis-François et mon assistante) ont contribué à un résultat final très solide. Après le shooting, Louis-François et moi avons papoté sur nos fils (qui sont proches en âge) et j'ai vraiment aimé son attitude terre-à-terre. Le shooting était à l'origine pour un dossier BBQ, mais ils ont fini par utiliser une de mes photos pour la couverture du magazine! J’ai hâte à de futures collaborations avec Signé M et de suivre Louis-François sur d'autres aventures.
